LIFE Ring: nature connects Funen

Experience the new LIFE Ring special exhibition, where you get up close to endangered species and gain insight into how we can strengthen nature together

New special exhibition LIFE Ring opens on May 14

Imagine Funen as one coherent landscape, where butterflies, plants and small animals can once again move freely from meadow to forest and from coast to scrub. That vision is the core of LIFE Ring – a joint Funen biodiversity project that aims to strengthen the quality of nature on Funen, Ærø and Langeland.

Today, many natural areas are small, isolated islands with declining populations of endangered species. LIFE Ring works to connect nature together and create better living conditions through stronger connections between the areas. The project is based on broad cooperation across all Funen municipalities. Nature knows no borders.

From May 14, 2026, you can experience LIFE Ring at Naturama in a new special exhibition, where the audience gets up close to the endangered species and gains insight into how together we can strengthen nature.

From the opening day, you can experience the container exhibition from 9 am to 6 pm.
